Our BDO offices are locally owned, nationally connected, and internationally linked. This means our people get all the benefits of working for a leading edge global professional services firm, whilst experiencing a business model that’s locally focused.

We have offices in 20 locations across Aotearoa, from Kerikeri to Invercargill, providing a unique opportunity to live the lifestyle that suits you while taking your professional services career to the next level.

Be supported

Your work environment matters! We create a fun, relaxed, and inclusive culture with loads of chances to socialise and collaborate. Join our sports teams, network at office gatherings, and dive into Social Club events. Get to know your team beyond the office and build a strong sense of community.

Buddies

When you sign with us, you’ll be paired with a buddy, your own go-to person throughout your graduate year. These handpicked buddies are here to help you feel supported. They’ll connect with you during your final months of your study, so by the time you start, you’ll know some familiar faces, helping your transition to full time work life.

BE BACKED TO REALISE YOUR GOALS AND GROW – RIGHT FROM THE START

We know you want to grow, and we offer a tailored learning and development program that enables you to thrive as an individual. When you join the BDO whānau, you’ll gain access to a huge variety of opportunities, where you’ll grow relationships with team members, industry leaders and clients, from across many different sectors and business types from around NZ.

BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE

We have opportunities available in our Audit and Assurance Services, Taxation Services and Business Advisory Services teams.

If you know that business is about more than the balance sheet and profit and loss statements, then this could be the team for you.  Our audit specialists and technical experts focus on the bigger picture. BDO has one of Aotearoa’s largest dedicated audit teams.

BDO - Business Advisory

In Advisory, we work alongside businesses to help support and manage their financial needs. From basics such as tax compliance, day-to-day accounting requirements, payroll and preparing financial statements, to the more complex stuff such as growth strategies, tax planning and asset protection. You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of business finance and make a real impact!

BDO - TAX

Tax touches all aspects of people’s lives. If you are creative and enjoy problem-solving, then Tax is for you. Our team of tax specialists back businesses with practical, innovative and robust solutions. You will be responsible for an array of matters, from assisting individuals and liaising with Inland Revenue to complex cross-border transactional work.

It’s OK if you’re not sure what service line you are most interested in just yet, you’ll learn more throughout the recruitment process.
