A graded caseload is provided, allowing time to develop skills in one area at a time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) 
  • Pending Registration with AHPRA 
  • Police Check Clearance 
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
  • Passion to support people to live their lives the way they want to

Training, development & rotations

In the first year, graduates embark on a journey of professional development supported by peers and mentors in a team environment. A personalized GROWTH plan with regular mentoring, learning modules, and workshops forms the basis of the schedule. The second year enables exploration of different facets of the organization through the Business Operations Program, Mentoring Program, and Advanced Clinical Skills Program, offering valuable exposure and experience

Monday to Thursday I am doing home visits, with NDIS clients. This involves ongoing OT intervention and functional capacity assessments. Friday's are in the office, catching up on documentation and engaging in MDT meetings.
