In your first year, you will embark on a journey of professional development where you’ll be supported by peers and mentors working in a team environment. Monday to Thursday I am doing home visits, with NDIS clients. This involves ongoing OT intervention and functional capacity assessments. Friday's are in the office, catching up on documentation and engaging in MDT meetings.
Managing a team of allied health practitioners at a residential aged care facility. Discussions with management to determine the best way to deliver care. Assessing and treating clients within the geriatrics space. Adapting exercises to be as fun and engaging as possible.
My role includes working in the community and completing in-home assessments with NDIS and Home Care Package clients.
