Management at Fulton Hogan

8.2
8.2 rating for Management, based on 50 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Our managers are wonderful. They are extremely down to earth, they are very proactive in the business and accessible. They respond to your emails, calls and listen to your suggestions and concerns. They attend various company events, trainings and internal audits and frequent all the regions and departments. They are no strangers to providing feedback to your managers next in line and actively make an attempt to put in place recognition processes for those around the business.

Manager is always accessible and often will give good feedback to ensure I can learn and complete all tasks correctly. Internal communications are continuously ongoing as we all sit within one site office.

The managers on the project are hit or miss. The good manager is extremely approachable and helpfull with questions and bonds with the team. Other managers are absent and don't seem to fix any probelm on my level (although they are probably fixing alot of problems on their level that i don't see).

Very accessible, yes they do make good mentors, internal communication is always positive but direct to streamlining processes, tracking/updates from the team, and achieving specific outcomes. Performance feedback only occurs at the half-yearly progress 1-1 meeting with the manager.

Managers are generally very accessible. They are good mentors and are trying to teach/get graduates to experience more where they can. Internal communication is done through verbal communication, if that is not available then email/calls. Performance feedback is usually given through a formal meeting. Praise/recognition is usually done verbally/through email.

Our managers make themselves available for us to guide through and provide us the feedback and guide us in right direction to get the problem solved or to develop in our role.

My managers are incredible. I find that they are some of the best I've worked with, they genuinely care about me and my progression and have a well structured learning plan. The internal communication is great, I know what is required of me, the performance feedback is really good to and I try to be as open as possible for it. I am acknowledged when I do a good job and I appreciate that. I particularly loved when my upper management team gave me a thank you gift after helping them with some work. Made me feel very appreciated!

I have a very good relationship with my direct manager and they provide a lot of support for my development and encourage me to take on new challenges. I have good communication with my manager however as you go up the chain of command, I find that information has trouble working its way down leaving people uncertain of what is going on.

Good communication with my manager.

I don't deal much with upper management unless there is an issue of importance that requires their attention. My environmental manager who I work closely with on a daily basis is a fantastic manager and leader. Always keen to help me.

The managers are excellent. From my direct line managers all the way up to the CEO, it seems they care and will spend time with us grads to give us advice and guidance.

Great manager, very open to chat and wants the best for those under him. He is very busy and we work away a lot so don't see him very much.

So far, I have been in very good relations with my managers. Throughout my rotations, they were kind of my mentors with whom I was able to get help with my grad career.

I am very satisfied with the management interaction. As I am based on a large site I'm given the opportunity to interact and learn from various forms of management every day.
