What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
The pay I receive is considerably above the median salary for my industry and position (environmental graduate). The career development framework (CDF) provides a clear framework for moving into your next role and a rough guide of the kinds of pay increases you can expect over your career and when you can expect them. If I am to provide any feedback it would be to clearly outline the pay increases with promotion or provide a range in the CDF. The process for getting bonuses in the company is also quite hard to achieve if you work in a role where you aren't generating considerable revenue or working. This needs to change as well.

Starting salary is good for graduate engineer, but some companies do pay better. From my understanding, I don't think salary progression within FH is very good. Other Tier 1 construction companies pay much better for more senior roles. As for bonuses, I recently did not receive a bonus as I had not been with the company for 12months (been here for 9months) which was a bit rough.

It's enough to live on.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Aug 2024
Pay is good, have not recieved any bonuses and have not been informed about how you earn bonuses.
Graduate, Brisbane - 20 Aug 2024
Pay is about average in terms of market, bonuses I have not seen in my 3 years working here
Graduate, Melbourne - 20 Aug 2024
No bonuses for my role, no comment. Pay is excellent for graduate role I think, it seems good compared to my other friends in the same role at di_erent companies but pay is never a public speaking point so itÕs hard to gauge much. But for the hours I work the pay is great and makes me enjoy the role much more which means I am more productive.
Graduate, Adelaide - 20 Aug 2024
The pay I think is fair for the position and experience.
Graduate, Sydney - 20 Aug 2024
Good pay and will be given increments according to our performance
Graduate, Brisbane - 20 Aug 2024
Should be paid for the hours you work
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Aug 2024
The pay is high for a graduate level, I do not know anything about bonuses.
Graduate, Melbourne - 24 Aug 2023
We definitely need to raise the pay with the cost living rise.
Graduate, Sydney - 23 Aug 2023
Haven't heard anything on bonus.
Graduate, Moree - 22 Aug 2023
Don't get any bonuses at current level.
Graduate, Nowra - 22 Aug 2023
I think employees are paid a fair wage, however I would like to see how wage growth develops from year to year especially with inflation.
Graduate, Geelong - 11 Aug 2023
Should be increased when you get more responsibilities.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Aug 2023
Competitive salary - upper range of what companies offer for similar roles. I don't known about bonuses.
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Aug 2023
For someone new to a full-time job I think I am paid well. I do wish thought that pay was on a fortnightly basis instead of monthly, due to budgeting. I am unaware of any bonus, haven't had a conversation about bonuses too.
Graduate, Melbourne - 07 Aug 2023
As an entry level job I think the pay is good. I've been at the company for 8 months as a graduate so I have no feelings towards bonuses.
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Aug 2023
The pay is well priced to the current market, bonuses are not applicable.
Graduate, Melbourne - 07 Aug 2023
No bonuses.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
The company has really great company discounts and perks for employees this includes for accommodation, flights, private health insurance, fitness passports & office supplies. The annual leave policy is the industry standard and I recon they need to increase the amount of paid paternity leave they offer for men.
Graduate, Sydney - 27 Aug 2024
I can't think of any company perks that I use or any that standout.
Graduate, Adelaide - 23 Aug 2024
Discounts from stores like JB hi fi and private health insurance. Best thing is the graduate camp where you gather with all Fulton Hogan's graduates in a camp and do lots of competitions and have fun time and free food....
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Aug 2024
Unable to provide feedback. Haven't had the opportunity to take advantage of them.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Aug 2024
I have not been able to use this yet, but the purchase leave program is a great idea. I wish there were a few more free events.
Graduate, Melbourne - 20 Aug 2024
Best is probably the gym membership perk to access almost any gym in Adelaide for a bit cheaper than their memberships.
Graduate, Adelaide - 20 Aug 2024
I believe the company has some discounts for some major brands (i.e. JB Hifi), fitness passport, graduate events to other states
Graduate, Sydney - 20 Aug 2024
Have plenty of perks like car hire, hotels, flight tickets etc.
Graduate, Brisbane - 20 Aug 2024
I don't think the company offers many, if any perks, other than "competitive pay" and an interesting job
Graduate, Sydney - 19 Aug 2024
There aren't many amazing perks in my position, although I know that further down the line the perks increase whether in pay, vehicles etc.
Graduate, Melbourne - 24 Aug 2023
Occasional lunches and work function for big achievements for the project.
Graduate, Nowra - 22 Aug 2023
I like that for certain individuals, a company car is included as part of their compensation. The employee work benefits are pretty good for the partnered business.
Graduate, Geelong - 11 Aug 2023
I have not received any of them.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Aug 2023
Discounts for gym, movies, etc.
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Aug 2023
I am yet to use any of the company perks but personally the best perks are a fitness passport, travel insurance, JB Hi-FI and Westpac. The most unusual are Oric and AVIS as I don't think too many people need car assistance.
Graduate, Melbourne - 07 Aug 2023
Tickets to NRL games, many employee benefits (gyms, health insurance etc).
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Aug 2023
Discounted Rental cars is the best one.
Graduate, Melbourne - 07 Aug 2023
Haven't had the chance to experience any perks yet. Unsure if this applies but lunch being organised for trainings is always a plus!
Graduate, Melbourne - 07 Aug 2023
Support for CPA/CA.
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Mar 2023
Fitness passport.
