Pros and cons of working at L’Oréal Philippines

Pros

  • L'Oréal Philippines allows its Management Trainees to take ownership of their own projects.

  • L'Oréal Philippines also has this environment of being a safe place for me to ask questions and get feedback.

  • They encourage recharging and work-life integration... if they see you online or working past the working hours (they will genuinely reprimand you).

  • The salary and the benefits we receive are also very competitive.

  • L'Oréal ensures that we are being diverse and inclusive to all employees and that we have programs in place for everyone's well-being and benefit.

Cons

    • One recurring challenge is that projects sometimes experience delays due to lengthy internal approval processes.

    • It can't be helped, but there will be instances where you'll be dealing and handling multiple projects at once which are due in a few weeks time.

    • Currently, the office is uninspiring... we're in an old building with outdated designs.

    • L'Oréal is a fast-paced environment with incredibly high standards, which is motivating, but can also be demanding at times.

    • Too flexible to the point where overtime is becoming a norm.
