We have designed our graduate program to help you learn and grow. You’ll be supported and mentored by your peers and leaders, as well as through the Graduate Development Program. You’ll start with an induction at our headquarters in Sydney, where you’ll meet your grad cohort before commencing the program to kickstart your career.  

You will have an opportunity to complete rotations, working across business groups, disciplines, technology systems, and teams. 

Working in one of our teams in Technology, you could be: 

• building platforms and apps that support more than one million retail banking customers to lead the way in digital banking  
• involved in projects that transform the way we work 
• working on a variety of projects across trading platforms, including changes to support new business capability, enhancements, and system maintenance 
• learning agile scrum delivery methodology, customer-centric design, design thinking techniques, full-stack software development delivery, problem-solving, analytical thinking, scaled agile experience, DevOps, stakeholder management or solution design 
• providing support to our program managers and taking on responsibilities for project management, business analysis and change management 
• enhancing your knowledge and understanding of financial markets and products. 

If you’re interested in giving back, you can join our Graduate Volunteer Network who, in conjunction with the Macquarie Group Foundation, support community organisations globally each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing. In FY2021, we reached over $A495m contributed by the Macquarie Group Foundation and Macquarie employees.
