Our business continues to grow both here in New Zealand and overseas. We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take on their next challenge and forge a career in property management, learning about property development, leases and maintenance for the New Zealand portfolio. 

This is a unique opportunity to join the Mainfreight Group and Mainfreight Development programme.

Being a part of the Property team you will be working alongside our Branch Manager’s, teams and contractors to enhance our property needs and assets.

Some key functions:

  • Looking after queries from landlords 
  • Answering questions from our branches in tenanted buildings
  • Involvement with branches to help look after their properties
  • Facilities Management; assisting our NZ branches with repair and maintenance items, and supporting the management for compliance of their buildings. 
  • Invoicing for Property 
  • rent payment, rent renewal, Lease renewal 
  • Maintaining our property database, assisting the branches with Building Management systems
  • Other tasks as required

What you need to bring to the role:

  • An Interest in Property
  • A Property Qualification preferred.
  • The ability to communicate successfully with diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Being able to manage a diverse workload to a high standard.
