2022 Law Graduate - Insurance (Start ASAP)

This role will quickly see you contributing to real work and helping achieve positive outcomes for our clients. As a graduate you will undertake drafting, legal research and memo writing in a supportive team environment and:

• work closely with your team on active matters
• work alongside industry experts and get exposure to leading local and global clients
• work across a wide range of general liability litigation matters
• complete billable work including creating court bundles/books
• draft briefs to counsel
• complete legal research; and
• attend court for appearances.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates with a high degree of initiative, great communication skills, good problem-solving abilities, and excellent academic results. You will need to be pro-active and eager to learn.

In addition to this, you will also have:

• a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent
• a current Queensland practising certificate or be close to receiving
• a client focus; and commercial approach to your work
• the ability and confidence to deal directly with clients
• a high degree of initiative, dedication, and organisation
• the ability to manage a busy workload and work to tight deadlines
• a strong, plain language communication style.
