The placement at a glance:

An exciting learning opportunity is available for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join the Facilities Management/Health, Safety & Environment team.  Reporting to the Head – Facilities, HSE & CS, your key learning will include:

  • Assist in the development of the company’s ESG strategy by implementing a framework that will help support, analyse and prioritise decisions based on business risks and market conditions. This will include reporting on all ESG metrics and per European and Australian standards
  • Assist the department with all current and upcoming facility-related projects, consulting with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure completion
  • Initiate contact with Service providers/contractors to ensure a very high standard of presentation and a safe workplace for everyone on site
  • Supporting the HSE committees while taking an active part in other committees to ensure positive change
  • Proactively manage the onsite security access control, working with the wider HR team to ensure a smooth induction for new starters

Please note, due to the nature of this role, this position is based on-site, full-time.

About you

  • Self-motivated and proactive students who are passionate about gaining work experience. Effective communicators who can build rapport, enjoy collaborating with others and have the confidence to step up and drive change and ideas
  • Students must be an undergraduate in their second year or have at least 1 year left of studies as of January 2025, in a Business-related degree. This role would suit a student studying Project Management
