My mornings do vary as to when working with children you may have an early appointment at 8.00 am to see a child before they head off to school. On these days the schedule may move forward a little to accommodate.

A typical morning consists of:

Morning run

7.30 AM

Get ready for work

8.00 AM

Prep for clients for the day

8.30 AM

Travel to the first client

9.00 AM

Complete the first therapy session of the day

The middle of the day is where the bulk of my report writing and case noting occurs. I prefer to do report writing during the day vs at the end just to ensure that I don’t keep writing reports after 5.00 pm.

10.00 AM

Travel to the second client of the day

10.30 AM

Complete 2nd therapy session of the day

11.30 AM

Travel home

12.00 PM

Lunch

1.00 PM

Report writing

The last client of the day is usually around 3.30 pm to 4.00 pm again as I work with kids I generally have a later afternoon appointment

3.00 PM

Travel to the last client of the day

3.30 PM

Complete last session of the day

4.30 PM

Travel home and clock off for the day
