About the Internship

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated students for a Geotechnical Engineering Internship at our Perth office. This opportunity is ideal for those who are passionate about geotechnical engineering and eager to gain hands-on experience in the field.

As an intern, you will have the chance to work closely with our experienced team, contribute to ongoing projects, and develop your skills in a real-world setting.

The placement is full time and will run for a minimum of 5 weeks (chance of extension) starting in early January 2025.

Key tasks include:

Project and Research assignments for offshore developments, for example:

  • Supporting project teams in their site characterisation work and interpretation of results, including specification of laboratory testing.
  • Assisting in the design of foundation solutions for offshore energy developments
  • Complying with standards, specifications, and internal instructions. 

About You

We are looking for dynamic and proactive students who are currently pursuing a degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field. Ideal candidates should:

  • Pursuing a university degree (MEng/ MSc) in geotechnical or civil engineering 
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and a willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Be reliable, systematic, show initiative and capable of creative problem-solving.
  • Show enthusiasm for learning and contributing meaningfully to projects
