Exercise Physiologist / Rehabilitation Consultant at Beneco
Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at University of New South Wales (UNSW)
7:55 AM
Arrived at the Beneco office at Rhodes Corporate Park to get my work-day started.
8:10 AM
Laptop switched on, and ready to catch up on some emails whilst indulging in breakfast that my partner packed for me (trophy husband things).
9:30 AM
An hour and a half in, and we have a team meeting. Here, we run through customer/business updates, strategic planning, and discuss ways to manage our portfolio. These monthly team meetings have been immense in my development as a rehabilitation consultant. It always made me feel reassured and that I was not alone. It made the transition from uni to full-time work so much easier and less overwhelming. (super candid photo of the team—not staged at all.).
11:10 AM
I left the Beneco office and arrived at a café in Pyrmont for a quick coffee break. Here, I prepare for my upcoming doctor’s case conference by reading through the agenda that I prepared on what will be discussed at the review. Being able to work from home, at the office or on the road has been great. This hybrid way of working makes time go by so quickly!
12:54 PM
Quick mirror selfie after a lengthy case conference.
1:15 PM
Admiring the view before whilst finding somewhere to grab lunch.
2:30 PM
Back from lunch and back at the office—still feeling peckish, so I grab some more snacks... The Beneco kitchen is also always replenished and stocked with goods (shoutout to Jo!).
3:10 PM
One final meeting and it’s almost the end of the work-day! (another candid photo of Jerry doing work). Finalized all my reports, emails, and prepared my workflow for some more fun tomorrow.
6:00 PM
Finished the day off by meeting up with my hungry partner in Burwood to grab some dinner and make sure she is fed (happy wife, happy life!!).
