You will receive 12 months of graduate specific support in our Industry Leading OT Graduate Program where you will learn all the fundamentals of being a great community OT, which is focused on supporting clients with their goals and building independence with function. You get to work long term with clients of all ages in their homes and other community locations and to help them achieve, greater outcomes in the community.

About the Role

Graduate Occupational Therapists at National 360 provide services to assist persons of all ages presenting with a range of needs. We work with both paediatrics and adults and work across a range of disabilities including physical, psychosocial, neurological, intellectual, and cognitive. This diversity creates an interesting and varied role, no day looks the same!  We work across the NDIS, Aged Care and Insurance sectors and our Graduate Occupational Therapists provide services in the home, clinic, and community settings, completing initial assessments, therapeutic intervention programs and reporting.

When you join National 360, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, increasing your understanding of holistic approaches to therapy. With a unique specialisation structure, you can choose to work in a generalist capacity or work towards specialising in one or more of the following areas, 

• Mental Health / Psychosocial Disability
• Home Modifications
• Housing
• Assistive Technology
• Paediatrics

Each of these areas is supported by a clinical practice advisor who you can access on a weekly basis to support your skill development and clinical knowledge. You are then also supported with weekly supervision to address your individualised learning goals. 

Industry-Leading Support

We are committed to providing our team with a learning environment which focuses on continuous development and team-based approaches to therapy. We employ one therapist in a supervisory capacity for every three therapists who do not supervise, ensuring that every therapist receives individualised coaching and supervision to increase their skills and confidence. Our unique Clinical Practice Advisor structure ensures that our therapists receive high-quality, specialised advice to assist in the management of a diverse caseload. This means you have weekly access to specialist clinical practice support.

In addition to internal learning opportunities, Graduate Therapists are provided with paid study/conference/seminar leave as well as generous financial contributions to engage in external learning.

About you

To apply for this opportunity, you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
• Graduated within the last 18 months and have an interest in community therapy
• AHPRA Registration or eligible to apply upon graduation 
• An interest in providing services to people living with disabilities and neurological disorders
• The ability to develop positive relationships and trust with those in the community and the workplace
• A learning mindset and commitment to continuous development
• NDISWC / WWCC (or willingness to apply)
