Time to log off and go meet the rest of the graduate crew for a well-deserved drink and dinner! Will do it all again tomorrow!

6.30 AM - Alarm sounds!

Time to wake up, freshen up and have some breakfast and get ready for a big day in the office.

8.00 AM -Taking the train to work

One of the perks of being a permanent full-time Queensland Rail employee is the free train travel to and from work.

8.30 AM - Daily planning

After settling into the office, it is time to catch up on unread emails and start planning my day. This includes reviewing the meetings I have scheduled for the day and scheduling in time for myself to work on my projects.

10.30 AM - Mentoring session with my manager

My manager shouts me a coffee and we sit down to discuss my goals for the year, current projects and any work-related items I need guidance with.

12. PM - Lunch time!

I head out of the office to give my legs a stretch and to re-fuel with some lunch from the local carvery.

1.30 PM - Meeting the business teams

After an energy boost from lunch, it is time to meet some internal business teams to discuss their requirements for some SAP projects that I am delivering. Today I am meeting with the Finance team to discuss some configuration changes that I am making within the Finance and Accounting module in our SAP system.

4.00 PM: Winding down for the day

Now that my meetings for the day are over, I now have some quiet time to book in follow up meetings and to respond to emails that I received while I was away from my desk.

5.00 PM: Calling it a day

That’s a wrap for the day, time to log off and go meet the rest of the graduate crew for a well-deserved drink and dinner! Will do it all again tomorrow!
