Your role

As the Digital Content Intern, your role will be to support the Sanofi General Medicines Marketing team in the execution of key projects with a strong digital focus. You will be working with multiple stakeholders and gain valuable exposure to Diabetes, Cardiovascular and Haematology portfolios as well the Medical and Business Operations and Support teams.

Priorities in this role include:

  • Providing administrative support to the marketing teams
  • Liaising with the Business Operations & Support team and agencies to ensure timely execution of project deliverables
  • Collection and assessment of performance reports for key digital tactical initiatives
  • Maintaining and updating the e-consent database
  • Assistance with editing and building website pages (training will be provided)
  • Submitting content for review by our Medical and Regulatory affairs teams

Training & development

The Sanofi Internship Program is a 2-month program that offers you the opportunity to gain real-world experience, develop your skills, and prepare for your entry into the corporate world. You will work alongside a supportive team and have a designated mentor to guide you. You will also have monthly catch-ups and workshops with fellow interns to develop your soft skills.

About you

Requirements:

  • You will be in your penultimate year of studying for an undergraduate degree in the areas of Marketing with a recognized tertiary institution
  • Are able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours (max 23 hours) per week onsite at their Macquarie Park office
  • An understanding of Marketing and Digital Marketing including content best practices
  • Sound organisational skills
  • A curious, innovative and analytical mindset
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player who is able to work collaboratively
  • Someone who is eager to develop themselves and will take ownership of their role once project goals and tasks are set
  • Demonstrable experience using Adobe Photoshop, basic HTML, and website content management systems (CMS) is highly desirable

The primary role of my role (Assistant Brand Manager) is to drive growth for the brand through strategizing for effective marketing campaigns that drive awareness and consideration of the brand, increasing our market share and ultimately profit and growth for the company. This consists of leading and managing various key activities such as yearly brand planning, working with the sales team, working with agencies on bringing creative brand concepts to life, exploring ideas for new product lines, monitoring the industry and our competitive environment, and much more. My daily work usually consists of plentiful cross functional working and meetings with our sales, digital and regulatory teams, lots of reading and emails, working in spreadsheets, and liaising with our various agencies for updates on our campaigns. Outside of meetings and emails, I'm usually working on my projects, and usually on multiple projects concurrently, so being able to prioritise and stay organised is key.
