Your role
The role involves working with the Engineering & Maintenance and HSE Teams to assess all operating areas for potential hazardous zoning, to ensure compliance with both Sanofi & Australian Standards for this discipline. This involves ensuring the compliance of the electrical & mechanical equipment used within these identified zones, and the elimination of the potential for fire, explosion, or the accidental release of chemicals to the environment.
Your priorities in this role will include:
- Review site for previously undetected Hazardous Areas, and confirm classifications of already known and mapped areas
- Complete area Explosion Protection reviews (including a review of areas for potential ignition sources), and develop recommendations for addressing process safety issues
- Provide risk assessment using risk analysis techniques and tools
- Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to work hazards
- Collaborate with team members within direct and other business units

About you
Requirements:
- You must be in your penultimate year of an Undergraduate degree studying in the areas of Chemical Engineering, Explosion Protection, Hazardous Area Electrical Safety or similar.
- Self-directed once project goals and tasks are set.
- Highly organised and with strong attention to detail.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
- Good communication skills: visual, written and verbal in interpreting to non-technical audiences.
- Strong team orientation with a willingness and preparedness to share and seek information, knowledge, help and support others in the team.
- Enthusiastic and energetic.
- Hazard Area mapping and classification knowledge is not essential but would be an advantage.
- You must already have the right to lawfully work and live in Australia.

The primary role of my role (Assistant Brand Manager) is to drive growth for the brand through strategizing for effective marketing campaigns that drive awareness and consideration of the brand, increasing our market share and ultimately profit and growth for the company. This consists of leading and managing various key activities such as yearly brand planning, working with the sales team, working with agencies on bringing creative brand concepts to life, exploring ideas for new product lines, monitoring the industry and our competitive environment, and much more. My daily work usually consists of plentiful cross functional working and meetings with our sales, digital and regulatory teams, lots of reading and emails, working in spreadsheets, and liaising with our various agencies for updates on our campaigns. Outside of meetings and emails, I'm usually working on my projects, and usually on multiple projects concurrently, so being able to prioritise and stay organised is key.
As the Business Insights Graduate, my role sees me work on data from it's sourcing stage all the way to it's contextualization and insights communication.
Usually consists of liaising with stakeholders to help them better understand their forecasts & budgets. Also responsible for some aspects of financial controlling and ensuring our reporting is accurate.
